- Have plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
- Have light meals and avoid food that is hardly digestible before the flight, like fried food, fats.
- Also don’t take alcoholic beverages. As the digestion of alcohol before or during the flight, can cause stomachache and an overall distress.
- Cleanse and moisturize skin regularly whilst on board again to counter dehydration.
Others…
- Double check your flights before setting out for the airport at least 24 hours before time of travel.
- Try to book your flights other than the peak seasons to avoid congestion at the airport.
- Do not drink too much before boarding the aircraft, as alcohol and cabin pressure cause dehydration. You are also unable to use the toilets until the aircraft is airborne and at a safe height for the sign of seat belt to be taken off.
- Verify with the airline you are traveling with, as to the availability of telephone and laptop power points on board.
- Leave your contact details with someone at home or somebody in the emergency contact.
